So i got moved into the apts. at first when i drove through to the place i was a little leery bc i guess i just didnt know where i was and it felt uncomfortable, but i suppose that is the reason i came? to get out of the comfort zone? anyways. got moved in, had a little drama trying to eat my first meal last night, i went to the lovely szchewan pavillion for some quick chinese food at 9pm and then got all the way back to the apt. and realized i had no utensils so had to get back out and get plastic forks and such...so anyways i finally ate at like 1030 last night so that was fun. im on the third floor and i have a garage for my jeep and i moved in all my stuff all by myself up 3 flights. im a rock. i slept soo good last night bc i guess i was just sooo exhausted
This morning i woke up got out and went to find the Childrens Medical Center Pavillion where I will be in orientation on Monday, it wasnt so far as in distance but it took longer bc of traffic out here which is like WAY jumbled and crazy! I found it, and found the hospital too. I then had mapquested to find North Park mall....well i took a wrong turn and so i decided to just follow the big buildings and i ended up downtown in the arts district. so i went to the art museum which was on my list of things to do anyways, so why not go ahead and check that off...there was some art by jackson pollock(only reason i know of him is bc of the movie Mona Lisa Smile with julia roberts in it, and she took her class to actually meet him i think) anyways saw his stuff, some greek jewelry and this guy who painted the bluebonnets of texas which was pretty!!aanyways, saw some other cool stuff, found the methodist church and the baptist church downtown then i got back out on the interstate and...found NORTHPARK mall i was soooo excited, and when i say northpark mall...it doesnt even compare to ours........the first store i went in was David Yurman, then tiffanys, they have anthropologie, burberry, michael kors, juicy coutoure, coach, HUGE HUGE designer label places..neiman marcus, barneys of new york, ralph lauren, too many too remember, i was overwhelmed but happy i found it, then i got back out, and somehow managed to make my way back here to the apt. so the most exciting part of the day was that i found my way back and i made it all by myself! anyways my cousin from kentucky lives like 5 minutes from me and his girlfriend is in town, and we are all going to grab supper tonight, i am soo happy to have family out here and its so cool that even though i havent seen them all in years....they are here and its just nice to have family and it definately makes me thankful for the wonderful family i do have...and that you can always count on family for everything! anyways, im just chilling now, watching Youve Got Mail. anywho, definantely still a little in shock and exhausted but its all good, and i will get used to it all soon! The exciting day ended with dinner at Salt Grass in Mesquite TX which is like basically still Dallas with my cousin Josh from Kentucky and his girlfriend Stephanie from cinncinati but is a transplant to MSU!! i had a great time with them just being with people my age, and also just having the familiarity of family with me. It was so great to catch up with Josh, and it was just a fun night to be with other young people and more importantly family! its a shame that we all dont see each other more often, anyways, i am going to try to go to church in the AM but we shall see...i also want to lay out some at the pool! that never changes!! summertime sundays at the pool!LOVE YALL

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see"-Hebrews 11:1
Let it be.
"she is who she is because of where she's been"
Where there is great love, there are always miracles
Don't be reckless with other peoples hearts, dont put up with those who are reckless with yours
"Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealusy unyielding as the grave, it burns like a blazing fire; like a mighty flame, many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away, if one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned-Song of Songs
Carrie: Your girl is lovely, Hubble.
Mr. Big: I don't get it.
Carrie: And you never did.
Carrie: Later that day I got to thinking about relationships. There are those that open you up to something new and exotic, those that are old and familiar, those that bring up lots of questions, those that bring you somewhere unexpected, those that bring you far from where you started, and those that bring you back. But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous.
"excuse me while i kiss the sky"
"Following the light of the sun, we left the old world"
"if you hold on to the handle she said, its easier to maintain the illusion of control, but its more fun if you just let the wind carry you"-Story People...from Megan
"perhaps if we never veered off course we wouldnt fall in love, or have babies, or be who we are, after all, seasons change so do cities. people come into your life, and go, but its comforting to know the ones you love are always in your heart, and if your very lucky, a plane ride away"-sex in the city
"then the time came when the risk it took to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom"-Anais Nin
